The St. Louis Blues are struggling to maintain their viability as they continue to face a string of injuries.

Holloway returned to the team on Wednesday and may have a chance to play on Thursday, but the Blues have had to simplify their game and focus on team defense due to their depleted roster.

Meanwhile, the Utah Hockey Club has only won one of their last seven games and has struggled to score goals, with just two or fewer in four of their last seven games.

Their goaltending has also been inconsistent, with a combined 3.46 goals-against average and .886 save percentage from their top two goaltenders.

Leading scorer Clayton Keller, a St. Louis native, has also seen a decline in his production after a strong start to the season. He has only scored three goals and earned three assists in his last 10 games, bringing his season total to 12 points.
